ThoughtKey, Inc., founded in 2007, is an Atlanta-based boutique consulting firm focused on providing
Payment Card Industry (PCI) key/PIN management and data security program consulting services for all participants in
the financial services industry. We have a combined 36 years of general business experience including 15 years in audit and
another 12 years specific to the payment industry.
Our company was founded based on a specialized growing need in the payment industry. Most business
people have limited time during the day to stay abreast of the latest requirements and/or emerging trends taking place in
the payment industry outside of their core responsibilities. This limitation often stifles the ability to conduct a thoughtful
analysis of key risk related matters and even less time to implement, leaving the company vulnerable to risk. We recognized
the immediate need to address such vulnerabilities and the opportunity to do what we enjoy - provide "thoughtful analysis
on key risks and assist in implementation". Leveraging our knowledge we developed a platform of services and products
to assist our clients in minimizing their risk exposure associated with emerging industry mandates such as PCI PIN, PCI DSS,
PCI PED, PA-DSS, and FACTA truncation, and others.
